A remote-controlled toy without a working remote is just a toy with commitment issues. This two pack of Wincell CR2032 lithium coin batteries is made for compatible remotes and small devices that specifically require CR2032 3 V cells.
Check the old battery or device compartment before buying. Coin batteries are sneaky little bastards because several codes look similar while having different thicknesses and electrical requirements.
Look for CR2032 on the old battery
Remove the spent cell carefully and read the code stamped on its face. Buy this pack only when the device specifies CR2032.
A CR2025 or CR2016 may have the same general coin shape, but it is not the same battery. Matching all four digits saves you from wondering why the remote still refuses to make the toy misbehave.
Install the positive side correctly
Follow the polarity diagram inside the device. The broad flat face marked with a plus symbol is the positive side, but always install it in the direction shown by the actual compartment.
Keep your fingers clean and dry, seat the battery flat and close the cover securely. Test every button before handing the remote to somebody who already looks far too pleased with themselves.
Replace matching coin cells together
If the device uses two batteries, replace both with fresh matching CR2032 cells. Mixing a weak cell with a new one can leave the remote unreliable and turn a sexy surprise into repeated button mashing.
Exact runtime depends on the device and how often it transmits. The honest promise is simply that this pack contains two verified CR2032 lithium batteries, not a fictional number of hours.
Secure new and used coin batteries
Coin batteries can cause severe injury if swallowed. Keep them secured away from children and pets, and seek urgent medical help if anyone may have swallowed one.
Do not recharge, open, burn or use a damaged or leaking cell. Store unused batteries in their original card and secure spent cells before taking them to an appropriate local battery recycling service.
