Nothing kills a horny plan faster than pressing the button and getting one sad little twitch. This 10 pack of Wincell AA Super Heavy Duty batteries gives your battery-powered toys a fresh supply before the bedside drawer starts behaving like a graveyard.
They are standard AA batteries supplied on one card. Use them only in toys or other devices that specifically require AA cells, and check how many the battery compartment takes before tearing into the pack with your teeth.
Make sure your toy takes AA batteries
Open the battery compartment and look for the AA marking. AAA batteries are smaller and are not interchangeable, no matter how convincingly you swear at them.
Check the positive and negative symbols inside the compartment, then insert each battery in the direction shown. If the cap does not close easily, stop and check the alignment instead of forcing the poor bastard.
Replace the full set together
If your toy uses two or more batteries, install fresh matching batteries from the same pack at the same time. Mixing old and new cells can give you weak or uneven performance and makes it harder to know which one is causing trouble.
When the toy begins slowing down, sounding strained or cutting out, replace the set. That is considerably easier than spending ten minutes blaming the vibrator while your mood packs its bags.
Take them out before long-term storage
Remove the batteries if you will not use the toy for a while. Store unused cells in their original pack somewhere cool and dry, away from loose metal objects, heat and moisture.
Keep batteries away from children and pets. Do not recharge them, open them, throw them into a fire or use any cell that is leaking, swollen or damaged. Dispose of used batteries through an appropriate local battery recycling service.
Ten chances to avoid a dead toy
The pack contains ten AA batteries, so you can replace several pairs or keep spares ready for toys, remotes and other AA-powered devices. The useful move is putting the pack somewhere you will remember when the vibrator dies, not in the mysterious cupboard where spare cables go to rot.
Check your toy before the fun starts, install the right number of batteries and get back to the good bit. Simple, unsexy preparation can prevent a very unsexy interruption.
