Choose the fibre

A silky finish describes how something looks or feels; the material listing tells you what it is made from. Different fibres need different care.

Count the metres

Look at the length of each rope, its thickness and how many pieces are in the pack. Ten metres total is not the same as two ten-metre ropes.

Know its job

Most bedroom rope is not equipment for supporting body weight. Never assume a load rating from the thickness or the product name.

Can any bondage rope support body weight?

Can I machine-wash bondage rope?
