This crop cannot decide whether it wants to tickle your partner or smack their arse. Fortunately, it does not have to. One end brings the soft black feathers; the other brings the patent-vinyl crop tip and a very different kind of attention.
The Pipedream Fetish Fantasy Black Feather Crop is a two-ended sensation toy made for teasing, anticipation and light impact play. Stroke the faux-feather end across bare skin, flip the crop in your hand and let the black tip deliver the punchline.
Start with the soft feather end
Drag the feather puff along the neck, chest, stomach and inner thighs. Keep it light enough to raise goosebumps, then move away whenever your partner leans into it.
The fun comes from being wonderfully unhelpful. They want more pressure, you give them feathers. They expect another tickle, you turn the crop around.
Flip it around for a sharp little smack
The patent-vinyl crop tip concentrates the impact into a smaller area than a broad paddle. Use short, controlled taps on the fleshy parts of the bum and upper thighs, beginning gently before adding force.
Practise on a pillow first so you know exactly where the tip lands. Missing the cheek and clipping a hip is a crap way to discover your aim needs work.
Switch between teasing and impact
Run the feathers between your partner's legs, pause just short of the spot they want and then tap their arse with the crop. Repeat until they stop trying to guess what comes next.
That contrast is the delicious point. Soft, sharp, soft again, then one firm smack when they are convinced you have gone gentle.
Make them hold the position
Have your partner bend over the bed, kneel or stand with their hands against the wall. Tell them to stay still while you trail the feathers over their skin and decide which end they have earned.
Add cuffs if restraint is part of the fantasy, but keep the shoulders comfortable and make sure the wearer can give the agreed stop word or signal.
Aim for the bum and upper thighs
Use the crop tip on padded, fleshy areas. Avoid the spine, kidneys, neck, head, joints, genitals and any sore or damaged skin.
Build intensity slowly and stop if the receiver asks. You can be bossy, unfair and an absolute menace while still listening properly.
Clean both ends after play
Follow the supplied care directions. Clean the patent-vinyl tip and shaft as directed, and keep the faux feathers dry unless the instructions specifically allow otherwise.
Inspect the tip, shaft and feather attachment before use. Retire the crop if the shaft cracks, the tip splits or the feathers begin detaching.
Is this feather crop right for you?
Choose it if you want one lightweight toy that moves between soft tickling and controlled impact. It suits beginners exploring sensation play and experienced couples who enjoy keeping a partner guessing.
Skip it if you want heavy impact or verified overall dimensions. For the bedroom menace who enjoys saying “this might tickle” immediately before it absolutely does not, it is a beauty.
