Some nipple clamps arrive with chains, bells and enough metal to wake the neighbours. These black silicone rods simply close around the nipple and squeeze. Quiet toy, filthy little idea.
The Sportsheets Edge Silicone Pinching Rods are joined at one end and open at the other. Place the smooth rods around the nipple, slide on one of the supplied silicone rings and move it towards the joined end to increase the pressure.
You control how hard they pinch
The set includes four ring sizes, with four rings in each size. That gives you 16 rings for changing the fit and deciding how firmly the two rods press together.
Start with a roomier ring near the open ends. If that feels good, move it inward a little or try a tighter ring. Small adjustments matter when the body part in question is already standing to attention.
Put the nipple between the two rods
Open the flexible rods, position one on each side of the nipple and bring them together gently. Slide a silicone ring over the open ends to hold the pressure in place.
Make sure the ring is seated securely before taking your hands away. The goal is a controlled squeeze, not launching a tiny black ring across the bedroom and pretending that was part of the scene.
The smooth silicone keeps the sensation focused
There are no teeth or metal jaws pressing into the skin. The long flat silicone rods spread the squeeze along a broader area, while the ring decides how closely they sit together.
They are silent too. Your partner may be considerably less quiet, but the clamps themselves will not add chains or jingling metal to the soundtrack.
Make your partner wait while you tighten them
Do not rush to the firmest setting. Fit the rods loosely, tease everywhere else and let your partner wonder when you are going to slide each ring closer.
That slow adjustment is half the fun. They can watch your hand move, feel the squeeze build and decide whether “more” was a brave request or a spectacular lapse in judgement.
Use one rod set or both at once
Put both sets on the nipples for balanced pressure, or clamp one side and leave the other free for licking, sucking or a vibrator. The contrast can make the unclamped nipple feel surprisingly demanding.
You can also give your partner control of one ring while you control the other. Whoever ends up bossing the nipples has a fairly strong case for being in charge.
Try them on other sensitive spots carefully
The manufacturer also suggests the rods for the clitoris and other sensitive areas. Use the loosest practical fit, keep every movement gentle and make sure the rods cannot slip onto delicate tissue you did not intend to pinch.
These are adjustable clamps, not a challenge to see how much pressure your bits can survive. If the sensation becomes sharp, numb or simply wrong, remove them straight away.
Check the skin and take them off slowly
Compression can feel stronger the longer it stays in place. Keep checking the skin and your partner, and remove the rods if the area becomes numb, unusually pale, blue or very painful.
Support the rods with one hand, slide the ring towards the open ends and release the pressure gradually. The returning sensation can have a sting of its own, so this is not the moment for a dramatic yank.
Wash every rod and ring after play
Separate the loose rings from the pinching rods and clean every silicone surface according to the supplied care directions. Pay attention to the joined end and the inside of each ring.
Let every piece dry completely before storing the set together. Sixteen rings are generous, but considerably less useful when half of them have vanished into the same dimension as missing socks.
