Some people buy a plug for the feeling. Some also want a clear view through the middle. The Beginner's Anal Gaper is for the second group, because subtlety packed its bags and left the moment somebody made a see-through tunnel for your arse.
This is a clear borosilicate-glass plug with an open centre, a tapered body and a broad external base. The tunnel leaves the opening visible and accessible during play. It does not vibrate, inflate or require charging. The whole point is its firm shape and open view.
Check the size before believing the word “beginner”
The model name says beginner, but glass is rigid and has no squish whatsoever. The insertable section measures about 7.6 cm long and reaches approximately 3.6 cm across at its widest point. If that sounds like a big first step for your bum, it probably is.
The tunnel is listed at roughly 1.9 cm across internally, with an opening of about 1.3 cm at the tip. Its broad 6.4 cm base remains outside the body and gives you something solid to hold during insertion and removal.
Use plenty of lube and take your time. The smooth glass will not compress to negotiate a rushed angle, and your arse is under no obligation to accept a toy merely because the box called it beginner-friendly.
Firm glass also works for temperature play
Glass carries warmth and coolness differently from silicone, so gently warming or cooling the toy in water can change the sensation before play. Keep temperatures mild and test the glass against your wrist first. Nobody wants a kinky evening derailed by cooking their bum.
Inspect the plug before every use and retire it if you find a chip, crack or rough edge. Clean it with warm water and toy cleaner, then dry and store it somewhere padded where it cannot knock against other glass toys.
Choose this one because you specifically want a firm, clear tunnel plug and its visual possibilities. If you mainly want a soft first plug, the name on this box should not make the decision for you.
