Shower Sex: Hot, Wet and a Lot Trickier Than the Movies Make It Look
You're both naked, the water's running over your shoulders, and they've got soap on their hands and a very clear idea about where they'd like to put them. They turn you around and press you up against the warm tiles. Then someone stands on the shampoo bottle. Shower sex has a real talent for putting you in your place.
It can still be fucking fantastic. Work with the space you've got, keep both feet steady, and let the shower add something good rather than expecting it to do everything.
Make room for two
Clear the bottles off the floor, and make sure you can both stand comfortably without leaning on the door or the glass. Screens, taps and towel rails aren't there to hold you up. A non-slip mat will do a great deal for your confidence.
If it's a cramped cubicle, kissing and hands might suit you better than penetration anyway. Warm water, soapy skin and someone's fingers between your legs make for a pretty good time. And take turns under the water. Nobody feels especially seductive while they're shivering next to your perfectly warm arse.
Use lube, not soap
Water doesn't give you the lasting slipperiness you need. It actually washes away natural wetness and water-based lube, so being soaked isn't the same as being wet. Silicone lube's more water-resistant and it stays put in the shower, and something like Wet Stuff Touch will keep going. Soap, shampoo and shower gel aren't substitutes, and they can sting in all the wrong places. Keep lube off the floor, and clean any spills immediately. Slippery where you want it is great. Slippery under your foot isn't.
Keep the moves simple
From behind is usually the winner in the shower. Brace your hands on the wall, stick your arse out and let them hold your hips. Standing close for kissing and hands doesn't need much positioning, either. A stool or shower seat, if you've got a solid one, can get you to the right height for oral. Just make sure the person getting touched can stay balanced.

Only bring toys that can take it
Splash resistance and running water aren't the same thing, so use a toy that's made for the shower. The Maia KONA is waterproof and submersible, and it gives you something to do with your free hand. Finish wherever you like
Keep the temperature comfortable, and stop if either of you feels dizzy or unwell. If the kissing's great but the rest is awkward, turn off the water, grab a towel and take it to the bed. Wet skin on clean sheets is hardly a downgrade.
That's still a successful shower. You got clean, you got close and you found something you'd like to finish. And the bathroom doesn't have to host the whole event.
